sports and wildlife photographers take note, you can still have an impressive, high-functioning kit, without getting a terrible back ache. just take a look at this canon 400mm f5.6l lens. the 400mm focal length is perfect for maintaining a tight-crop on your subjects, while when mounted on a smaller aps-c format body, it provides you with an even longer 640mm equivalent. when paired with this focal length, the f5.6maximum aperture produces a very shallow depth of field, so your subjects will shine, tack-sharp in the front of a completely blurred-out background.

for premium support, the canon 400mm f5.6l features a rotatable and removable tripod collar, perfect for quick and easy use with a tripod or monopod. the ring-type ultrasonic motor will keep up with the speedier of subjects, while doing so in an almost inaudible manner, which is just another feature that makes this an ideal lens for a sporting or wildlife photographers kit. the super ud element and ud elements, which have been used in the optical design of this lens, drastically reduce aberrations and colour fringing, as well as increasing sharpness and clarity, while the physical construction of the lens is worthy of the l-series range, both dust and moisture-resistant.
