canon ef 70-200mm f2. 8l is usm iii zoom

the latest version of canon user’s favourite long-range zoom lens, is this 70-200mm f2.8l is usm iii. new in this lens is the application of canon’s new air sphere coating. this coating is best equipped for tackling flare and ghosting, while it is also able to combat reductions in contrast, leading to images that are notable for their clarity and crispness.

perhaps the most significant draw-card of this lens is its large f2.8maximum aperture, which is constant throughout the zoom range. this large aperture lets in plenty of light, so you can shoot at faster shutter speeds in order to trap fast-moving subjects in their tracks. you can also experiment with shallow depths of field, rendering your model tack-sharp and the background of your image into a dreamlike, featureless blur.

the zoom range itself is as impressive as it ever was, sure to be a fixture on the front of many cameras, from shooters of weddings and travel, to sports and wildlife enthusiasts. keeping you up to speed with your chosen subject, no matter what that may be, is a fast usm af motor and the focus limiter switch, which can be adjusted accordingly, whether your focal point is near or far to cut down on any time wasted by hunting focus.
