with its 65-point autofocus system and blistering 10 frames per second continuous shooting, the canon eos 7d mark ii is a common sight on the sidelines of many sports ovals across the globe. a follow-up to the hugely successful 7d, the mark ii keeps the essence of what made that body so popular and adds a host of advancements and modern functionality. at the centre of this rugged and workhorse-like camera is a 20.2mp aps-c cmos sensor, plus canon’s digic 6 processor, the two pairing up to provide stunning image quality under a variety of lighting conditions.

making it easier for you to find the right view to inspect the scene and frame your shot, the 7d mark ii features a 3inch lcd screen and intelligent optical viewfinder, the latter making it simpler to shoot without taking your eye away from your camera and off your subject. for storing the large number of files provided by the burst shooting, or for backing up important files, this camera features dual card slots, 1x sd and 1x cf. while full-frame cameras get all of the glory, it is worth taking note that as well as all of this class-leading usability and quality, the eos 7d mark ii and its aps-c format sensor provides a 1.6x magnification on lenses, which is a true blessing for telephoto work.
