the length of this adapter is 28mm(min.) to 56mm (max.).
it allows you to take close up/macro image more easier when full extended. it can focus infinity when closed of course. it is fit for the ef lens on the nikon z camera body, saving you the expense of a costly and irreversible conversion. the adapter has no lens element so it does not effect optical performance.

switching shooting mode and focusing mode to m (manual) is recommended.
not suitable for nikon f film / digital slr cameras and 1mount mirrorless cameras.
