for close-up photography work with your nikon dslr, make use of this compact and budget-friendly prime lens, the nikon af 60mm f2.8 d micro lens. for your macro purposes, this nikon lens features a 1:1magnification ratio and closest focus of just 22cm. despite being so good for close-up work, this lens should also be considered for everyday purposes, thanks to its versatile focal length; this is perfect on full-frame cameras and when magnified on dx-format cameras alike.
the fast f2.8maximum aperture of the nikon 60mm micro lens is ideal for producing great amounts of bokeh – this means the beautiful dreamy blur in the backgrounds of photos. as this lens does not feature a built-in autofocus motor, it will not focus on certain entry-level nikon cameras, such as the d3000and d5000series – on these models, you will have to employ manual focus.
