wide enough for landscapes and with enough zoom reach to quickly snap up a tightly-cropped portrait, the nikon 16-35mm vr lens is a real contender for an everyday friend for your dx-format dslr. as well as a 35mm equivalent zoom range of 24-127.5mm, this lens focuses down to 1.3 feet, so it can frame the smaller, up-close details as well. when shooting at full magnification and when shooting in dark and gloomy scenarios, you will be pleased to find a vr stabiliser, which is good for 3.5stops of stabilisation.

the two ed and three aspherical lens elements utilised in the construction of the nikon 16-35mm vr lens assure that all of your pictures are sharp and detailed, with eye-catching contrast and colour reproduction. a silent wave motor assures you can harness this beautiful picture quality in both your stills and you videos, thanks to its smooth, silent and accurate quality of autofocus. the internal focus mechanism leads to a compact lens, even when it is in use, so you can bring this lens along for your travels and everyday experiences, without regret.
