from nikon, comes this full-frame compatible wide-angle zoom lens, the 18-35mm f3.4-4.5. at the widest end, this lens is suited to cramming in the widest scoping sceneries, such as a mountain range, while its handy bit of zoom allows you to be selective with your framing. thanks to this zoom, the lens is not just a specialist landscape lens but is also suitable for travel and everyday purposes. when mounted on dx-format cameras the equivalent focal range of this lens is 27-52.5mm, meaning you lose some of your width but you gain a little extra zoom to reach out to subjects.

aspherical and ed elements have been used in the optical design of the nikon 18-35mm lens, which results in a high level of image sharpness and detail, and a low incidence of distortions and aberrations. similarly, nikons super integrated coating has been applied to reduce flare and ghosting, as well as enhance contrast and colour accuracy in your images. suited to a range of shooting situations, the silent wave motor of this lens provides a fast and quiet form of autofocus, so you can confidently photograph in hushed interiors without bringing too much attention to yourself.
