the first nikon dslr to be fitted with hd movie, the nikon d90 is a solid and reliable choice for lovers of still photography, as well as videography. further enhancing the shooting modes of this camera is the continuous shooting rate of 4.5 frames per second. the broad iso range of 200-3200keeps you firing after sundown, while as is the case with any nikon dslr, the d90still delivers high-quality, low-noise images at these top iso settings.

at the rear of the d90 is an updated optical viewfinder, with a frame coverage of 96%, and a 3inch lcd screen. this screen can be used for detailed inspection of your images, as well as utilising live view. 3d tracking af with its 11 points is capable of focussing on moving subjects, while the built-in af motor opens up use with a wide range of nikon lenses, not just those created for dx-format cameras.
