this nikon lens is engineered for discrete performance, making it an excellent choice for wedding videographers and event shooters. its stm af system is whisper-quiet, complemented by a clickless control ring that performs all tasks silently. for video creation, it further benefits from focus breathing compensation, ensuring seamless and natural-looking transitions when shifting focus between subjects.

optically, the lens delivers stunning sharpness with a noticeable absence of chromatic and spherical aberrations, thanks to the inclusion of two aspherical and one ed glass elements. this world-class lens is also remarkably rugged, featuring dust and drip resistance through comprehensive sealing across the lens barrel and a rubber gasket on the mount, allowing fearless use in unpredictable conditions. other key highlights include an l-fn button, which users can customise for quick access to their most frequently used functions.
