olympus pro 25mm f1. 2

a fast, premium portrait lens – for mftin another exciting new announcement from olympus, comes this 25mm f1.2 pro lens, a fast prime lens that is sure to be included on many micro four thirds shooters’ wish lists in the near future. the obvious drawcard of this lens is the large f1.2aperture, making it non-event to walk the streets shooting well after sunset, with your tripod waiting for you at home. camera shake is a thing of the past given the amount of light this lens lets in, not to mention the shallow depths of field on offer, which really make your subjects to stand out within the frame.

on compatible micro four thirds cameras, such as the olympus om-d range, this lens offers the equivalent focal length of 50mm, a certified classic that is suitable for all manner of subjects, namely portraits, architecture and everyday snapshots. many photographers swear by this common focal length, feeling that no kit is complete without a fast prime lens such as this one, in attendance.
