the sigma art series have taken the photographic world by storm, providing high-quality, sturdy lenses, which are often at a more attractive price point than major brands. this lens, the 30mm f1.4 dc art, is no exception, providing users with a normal prime lens, with excellent low-light abilities. the equivalent focal length of 45mm is great for a range of everyday shooting styles, including landscapes, people photographs, and snapshots. with its fast f1.4maximum aperture, you have every chance to capture those dreamy blurred backgrounds that you have dreamed of, as well gather sharp and detailed imagery in a broad range of lighting conditions.

with a double-sided aspherical lens element used in its design, the sigma 30mm f1.4art lens is capable of edge to edge sharpness, as well as actively reducing aberrations. with a hsm af system and a rear focusing system, af speeds are quick enough to appease even the most needy speed-lovers, while the fact that the focus performance is virtually silent will appeal to those who also shoot a little video. made from thermally stable composite material, this lens is great for shooting in varied climates, while it retains a lightweight stature, to allow it to be a likely choice for travel purposes.
