the sigma 70-200mm f2.8 dg lens is for sports and wildlife photographers of all levels, providing a long and versatile focal length with a large maximum aperture, at an affordable price point. this lens can be used on full-frame cameras, but you can also pair it with an aps-c sensor, on which it delivers a magnified equivalent of 112-320mm. a fixture of this lens is the fast f2.8aperture which is available at all zoom lengths, delivering you a consistent level of depth of field control. this fast aperture is also of benefit to your low-light performance, with the optical stabiliser helping the lens along in this regard, providing up to 4stops of protection from camera shake.

suitable for the action-minded folk who are likely to be harnessing this lens powers, the hsm af system works quickly and quietly. this speed is great when you are pointing your lens at a variety of subjects, while the near-silence of the performance is ideal for when you don’t want to bring attention to yourself, such as when shooting indoors, at weddings or other events.
